Here is the deer scarf as a knitting pattern. I actually designed it for children in 2018, but since many of my customers wanted it for themselves, I adjusted the length slightly. Now it is a medium size suitable for larger children and adults. For small children you could simply shorten it by 50-100 rows.
The 8-page detailed instructions contain, among other things, a pattern diagram, a repeat of the Norwegian pattern and many illustrations for better understanding. However, you should have some experience with knitting instructions.
